Abu Dhabi Judiciary Deploys AI-Driven Platform for Notarial and Authentication Services

Abu Dhabi — The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has rolled out a new artificial-intelligence-powered platform designed to handle notarial and authentication transactions entirely digitally, enabling users to complete tasks such as powers of attorney, declarations and contracts remotely with minimal human intervention.

The platform includes the following features:

  • It accesses user data automatically via the Government Data Exchange once the user signs in through UAE Pass, thereby pre-filling required information and reducing form-filling time.
  • Approved bilingual (Arabic/English) templates are available for transactions, eliminating the need for manual drafting. The system supports fully electronic signing and certification, including verification of validity.
  • No document upload is required in many cases — the system retrieves necessary documents automatically from other government sources. For cases requiring interaction, a video-communication tool is available.

The move is part of a broader digital-transformation drive by the ADJD, which reports that in the first half of 2025 it processed more than 778,000 electronic requests, over 333,000 digitally certified transactions and more than 295,000 virtual hearings.

This initiative is expected to significantly enhance efficiency, reduce processing time, and improve the user experience for legal and corporate clients in Abu Dhabi.
