A large area of Gujarat is already affected by floods. As a result, floods make the situation more worse. Although the cyclone has passed, due to the rains for the last two days, the water level has increased again in many areas. But the fear did not end here. In fact, this fear has increased further due to the forecast of heavy rain from Monday.
According to Mausam Bhawan, heavy rains will start at many places in the state from Monday. Baroda is also included in these. Mausam Bhawan has predicted heavy rain in Baroda between 2-4 September. Due to which the situation is likely to become even more serious. Due to rain in the last few days, the water level has increased in various flood affected areas of the city. In these, due to release of water from Vishwamitri Dam Ajwa, the water level in large areas of Baroda city has increased by 6-8 feet.
Mausam Bhawan said that apart from Baroda, rain warning has been issued in four districts of Saurashtra including Ahmedabad. There is a possibility of heavy rain in South and Central Gujarat from September 4. Mausam Bhawan has predicted very heavy rain in a total of 12 districts of the state. So far 36 people have died due to flood situation in Gujarat.
